Blizzard: A Love Story - Creative Team in Place! I am so pleased to be able to announce that I have an incredible team in place for this production of my play Blizzard: A Love Story!
At the helm as director, Lori Kee returns to Planet Connections following her 2014 win for Outstanding Director for her work on "Vacation! All I Ever Wanted". Lori has also won best directing awards for her work on "Death, it Happens…" (2012 Frigid Festival) and "Male Man" (Medicine Show.) At the 2013 Planet Connections Gala event "One Acts for A Cause", she directed "Tennesee by" John Patrick Shanley. She is Resident Director at Nylon Fusion Theatre Company and teaches acting at BMCC CUNY. http://www.lorikee.com/ An I am so happy to welcome Steven Albano back to the LifeDream Productions team as Stage Manager! Steve worked with me as SM on "The Closet" at Planet Connections in 2012 and I am thrilled to be working with him again. And I'm very excited to have Andy Evan Cohen on the team as Sound Designer! Andy is an incredible talent and I can't wait to hear what he comes up with! http://www.andycomusic.com/

I promise to write a full update when I have more time - very soon - as I have done a ton of projects since the last post almost a year ago. In the immediate future I'll be performng in Provincetown on May 24th in Jicky Schnee's "The Four Sisters: The Eye, the Ear, the Brain, and the Mouth" a one act play written in homage to both Anton Chekov and Samuel Beckett.
AMP Gallery 148 Commercial St, Provincetown, Massachusetts 02657 7pm on Sunday, May 24 https://www.facebook.com/events/1430623353916779/ And right after that, I'll be appearing in my play Blizzard: A Love Story at the Planet Connections Theatre Festivity. I'm producing and acting in this piece that I wrote - and have hired an incredibly talented director - LORI KEE to helm the piece. We'll be auditioning next week for the role of Ian and should be announcing our Stage Manager by the end of this week. And I launched our fundraising drive via IndieGoGo a few hours ago! For way more info - http://igg.me/p/blizzard-a-love-story/x/516419 I'll be creating a FB event page soon plus posting more info on this website as I can. I'm really proud of this play and so excited to see it come to stage - I hope you get the chance to see it! |
